The Witch's Bottle is now available down in the store for those of you that are interested in playing with the Extract/Imbue system for the Greater Seals. Please, please read the notecards on Extract/Imbue before trying the system. I doubt anyone will need it any time soon (there aren't enough "extra" mutations floating around yet), but the bottles are available for when the situation arises.

A Witch's Bottle is a special device that allows the owner to pull apart the magic of a Greater Seal and attempt to store it within the bottle for later use. Such traits and mutations, once stored, are able to then be poured upon another Greater Seal in an attempt to enchant it with the power that the bottle holds.
There is always a chance of failure when it comes to Extracting the traits and Imbuing them into a Seal. While the Seal is always consumed in the process of extraction, the Witch's Bottle is reusable and can be used over and over for the entire process. A Witch's Bottle can store only a single Trait or Mutation at a time.

The "Consume" option on the Witch's Bottle's blue menu will devour whatever magic is held within the Bottle in exchange for +5% additional chance towards Imbuing. This bonus remains until an Imbuing is successful. A Witch's Bottle can hold up to +10% this way.
Fairy Crystals from the Embers can be infused into the Witch's Bottle to add +0.5% per crystal rank towards Extraction. This bonus remains until an Extract is successful. A Witch's Bottle can hold up to +10% in this way.
Each successful Extract or Imbue adds a +0.01% chance to all future Imbues and Extracts, up to 10% (yes, that would take a lot of Extract/Imbuing). The Witch's Bottle cannot exceed 50% chance on any Extract or Imbue.

"Do I need more than one Witch's Bottle?" No, you don't. You can use them over and over. In my testing I found that having a few of them laying around to store mutations in was helpful, but that certainly wasn't necessary to make the process work. There is a "Swap" option on the Witch's Bottle's blue menu that allows you to safely move a mutation from one Witch's Bottle to another so that you can use whichever Bottle has the highest modifier to Imbue.
